The Lost Valentine

It was not the same at all. While earlier he made it so special, this year it was just another day. They hung out at a coffee shop, eating, talking, while there was a storm going inside her mind.
She was confused, trying to figure out what is right and what is wrong. She knew it was going to happen eventually, but so soon?
The spark was lost. The butterflies,  hard to find.

Betrayal

How would you feel if the one you counted on rips you apart?
The one you trust the most, leaves you stranded?
The one you thought is your best friend, ditch you when he/she was your last hope?
She felt devastated. Nothing would break her but the fact that she's willing to do anything, while the other one didn't even come to help, broke her. Years of friendship went through a deep crack that day. 'And you say she's your friend?' Said the others, while she was busy contemplating the reason as to why did this happen? Is she at fault or am I? May be I only failed to be a good friend? All these questions were stumbling in her mind, and in the end it was all lost...

Its all about the small things!

Well its all about the small things, at least for me.
Those random good morning, good night texts, to let the other person know you are remembered and cherished, or just a simple hello once in a while. Doesn't matter if you are new friends or old, what only matters is if you show some concern.
To ask if everything is okay?
Or just about reaching home on time and safe!
You should never leave those who do these small things you know. The things that probably is not such a big deal, but somewhere down the line it shows that you care.
Those random plans just to see one another, I don't mind receiving a flower picked up from a garden than a heavy bouquet. Its just these small things.
The efforts. The time. Making time, for someone special.
Its the joy in these little things. The smell of wet soil, the sound of the drizzle, getting wet in the rain or the first sip of coffee in the morning.
Listening to her complaints or giving him a tight warm hug, those 5 minutes of talking over the phone after a screwed up day that makes your life a hell lot brighter.
Doing something just to see a smile on someone's face, whether its buying a chocolate to that kid who roams around the road asking for money, or buying your loved ones something they are planning to get themselves, taking your family to dinner or just preparing dinner for them. Trust me, its these small things that catches the heart the most.
