Wouldn't it be great if every one of us were human?
If every one us had that sense of humanity?
People are getting rich in terms of wealth and money and big houses, but what about sentiments? What about sensibility? As we grow older, we are losing the sense of right and wrong I believe. Today an old woman was standing in the metro and nobody even bothered to offer her a seat, and we talk of righteousness? She wasn't that aware I guess, otherwise she would have gone for the seat reserved specially for the old. But then, we have these seats for the old and specially abled because no one is willing to offer them a seat in the normal scenario. Had this been the case we would have never needed special seats or special queues for them. Fight for your right they say. But why do you have to fight for it if that is your right? People would still skip queues, cheat and take what is not theirs. They can even fight for what they have done wrong.
Nobody is willing to sacrifice their own comfort or to sacrifice anything for that matter. What would be the difference between humans and machines if we forget about the one thing which differentiates us; Emotions. Yes, its emotions that we lack today. Someone suffering , we turn our backs. Someone needs help, we turn our backs. We are turning backs to our own family and friends, let alone other people who are nobody to us.
This breaks my heart. Lack of understanding, lack of compassion towards others. There's just I, me and myself all the time. It is sad that there are not many souls left who think of others, who think about others. And if our generation is behaving is this way, think of the generations yet to come. Its high time we realise this! Let's just do one good deed a day. Like I gave up my seat just to see that beautiful smile on that Aunty's face. Being thankful or just an usual greeting to someone. Let's spread smiles. Let's do one thing everyday for others. And trust me, it'll make your day. The fact that you did something for someone else, the happiness you gave them, their smile will definitely make your day. Let's pledge to spread smiles! A small step, but a much needed one.

Such is life

What is it, to see your loved ones going, going far far away, as if it was the last time they are meeting you?

How does it feel, to know that you're seeing this very person for the very last time?

What does it take to forget the pain that you both are going through?

May be you don't know. Or may be you do. Harder it is if you know that person from years; years and many more years. Such is life.

Reality

We live in a world where no one is willing to give. No one is willing to give anything to anyone without any intentions and expectations. We only be friends with those who are in some way beneficial to us; whether its personal or professional!
We live in a world where showing off is more important whether its taking your life from the inside.
We live in a world where building contacts is more important rather than having some actual talents.
Its the age of buttering and the 'maskas' that you do of your boss to get that extra hike, or its those random greetings to say to that guy to get to a better position. Its an age where you give nothing to no one without counter thinking its effects or consequences. Everybody is ready to party and chill, and when someone needs help, why does everybody back off? We pull each other down, somewhere somehow, just to sound cool.
Portraying to have a cool life? 'I wish your life was half as happening as your Facebook timeline!' I read once. People are so intrigued to have nice pictures to post or cool things to Snapchat, just to show how exciting and thrilling their life is. No matter how your actual day to day life is, but your posts should be the best, with maximum number of hits or likes on it.
Now, we first click a picture of that moment rather than living the actual moment. I do it, you do it, everybody does it. And its brilliant what the digital era has done. Pictures capture that moment for life. But don't you think few moments are better left uncaptured? Well its a generation of Snapchat and Instagram I'm sure, but aren't we going too far from where we should be? Too busy to impress others who are not even going to give a shit when you need them.

Too concerned to get enough likes or praising or what others would say to what you've done. 

Too much about the world, with the lesser you.
