Drabble

It is just a short story which I wrote for developing an e pub, a long time ago. Being an amateur, a lot of mistakes are going to be there. Correct me if I am wrong, and enjoy reading :)

Introduction

7 days of happiness,

7 days of joy,

7 days of care and a little soy.

7 days of togetherness

7 days of understanding,

7 days of pure heart and its mending.

7 days of infinity,

7 days of an untold tale,

The love  of a devil and an angel.

A story of a demon and angel, A story of the bad in the good and the good in the bad, A story about life and how it changes. A story which could make you fall in love in 7 days. Cause it's not the time that counts, its the moments that matter. Moments, that defines how strong your bond is. Those very moments when you put your loved one's happiness above yours. Those moments when you care, cherish and make the best out of everything you've got, no matter how little it is. Even when you know that these moments would only last for 7 days. Be it the love for your master, your family or your partner. It demands sacrifice.
Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. And they found their infinity in those 7 days, which changed their lives, forever.

Chapter 1 : college

With sun shining bright, and cold breezes blowing, a pleasant weather, neither too hot nor too cold, in the meadow of the mountains lied a beautiful city called Dalmar. There it was, one of the most sought after colleges of the country, St. George college of communication.
Aria, one of the brightest student of their lot, jolly and chirpy, had a girl next door kind of personality. Known by almost all the students and the teachers, was adored by the same.
She had this amazing optimism within herself that wherever she went, she spread that positivity and happiness all around herself. A perfect daughter of the high-class, very well known powerful parents, but equally down to earth herself. People who are rich and powerful often have this attitude amongst them. But she? Nah, never even had she spoken loudly with anyone without any reason, forget about the hurting part.
She basically had this life which everyone would call- 'perfect'. And because of that reason, few of the girls would feel envy. Ah, you know how it goes. People who poke into everyone else's business cause they don't have their own. Perfectly established parents, cute little and an always irritating brother, and a perfect soul mate called Arjun. The relationship between Aria and Arjun was very open to everyone in college. In fact, both of their parents, who were actually family friends,  knew about it and were very cool about the same. Their parents had a very broad and modern thinking about society. That is why Aria is so open and a complete extrovert herself. Arjun and Aria knew each other since they were 5. But the cupid struck them only in college. they both were madly in love with each other since then.

The most powerful people of the college were the trustees, as they were the major source of funding for the college, and Aria's father was one of them. In total their were 4 trustees whose dependents were studying in the same college. This was also one of the reasons which made Aria so special. But all in all, she was definitely one of her kind.

Life is beautiful, you just have to notice.

Chapter 2: The new boy

It was a regular day. Aria was talking to her best friend Tiya, when the teacher came with a brand new face. Tall, fair and somewhat you can call him handsome as well. The teacher introduced him as our new class mate and asked him to give a brief intro about himself. He fumbled at first and then started gaining his confidence after a few moments. That is when we got to know his name, Rohan. He said he had come from Delhi all the way up here cause of the name and fame of the college, said he had a little brother, no mother, no father and spoke about his hobbies and all at a very low volume. He wasn't audible most of the times so the teacher had to remind him time and again to speak a little louder. His eyes were deep set, filled with pain. Well, he seemed a little shy, like the silence before the storm.
Well no doubt Aria tried to make a conversation with him, but he was all the opposite of her- an introvert basically. Aria thought of giving him some space for him to open up and tried to play normal and cool.
A month had gotten by and from the past few days Aria had been noticing the new boy. Every day, he just came to the college, sat on the left corner seat at the back, took all the classes and didn't speak a word with anybody. This was somehow weird and Aria noticed it the very instant as she was the class representative and had the official duty of noticing and observing everybody in her class. well, she though again of giving him his own time. So thoughtful.

Grief is like the ocean, it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it's overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.
